* 15hp, 48 Volt Lynch motor. with bearings, belts and pulley wheels

* Motor controller, dashboard and meters. With forward/reverse lever, key switch and wiring loom.

* 6 kW inverter with 4kW charger

Providing mains power for any household appliances and have a battery charger for charging from or land-line or 4.5kW on-board generator.

* 12 Volt power supply, 25 Amps,
for powering marine equipment

* 720 Watts of monocrystalline panels
4.1 sq. meters of high performance Tyco Sunpower glass panels in black aluminium frames. 8 panels, each 1012mm x 506mm x35mm.

* 880 Ah, 48V traction battery
manufactured in UK with connectors.1200kg. (880 Amp-hour at 20 hour rate). Twenty-four cells with insulated connectors. Either short or tall:
(200mm x 195mm x 435mm high) or (200mm x 140mm x 580mm high) per cell.

* Users guide and installation manual
Kit excludes battery box and motor mounts, these can be fabricated out of steal using diagrams in the installers' manual.

Broad beam steel barges
make great solar powered homes.
However twice the power is required
to cruise at the same speed as a
narrowboat. Extra solar panels should be fitted, or a heavy duty on-board generator
to have a long-distance cruising performance.
